Soft Batch Christmas Sprinkle Cookies are a super easy holiday sugar cookie – no rolling the dough required! Packed with red and green sprinkles, perfect for the holidays!  These sprinkle sugar cookies are the best, easiest, Christmas cookies around!

You guys.  It’s Christmas cookie season!  My favorite season of all. Ever.

It doesn’t matter what other desserts are on display at Christmas time, I go for anything with sprinkles on it first.

Ingredients

•     1 cup Unsalted butter softened, (2 sticks)
•     1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
•     1 Egg room temperature
•     1 cup Sugar
•     1/2 tsp Baking soda
•     1 bottle Sprinkles
•     2 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
•     1/2 tsp Baking powder

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray or parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in your egg and vanilla extract.
3. In a separate bowl whisk together baking soda, baking powder, and flour. Slowly mix this in with your wet ingredients. Mixing until well combined.
4. Place sprinkles on a plate. Scoop out 1 1/2 tbsp of dough and place in the sprinkles. Roll the dough until completely covered in sprinkles. Place sprinkle covered cookie onto your prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven then allow to cool on the baking sheet for 8-10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
