The Best Oreo Ornaments Christmas

When it comes to the holiday season, Christmas cookies are a MUST. I must bake them and more importantly I must eat them. Unfortunately, at a time of the year where I have a laundry list of things to do and six Christmas’ to celebrate I usually drop the ball on something. That something is often baking, even as a baking blogger.

Fortunately, we have Oreo Ornaments; a quick, easy, fun, and festive Christmas cookie! Oreo Ornaments are perfect for those who love Oreo Cookies. Second, they are fabulous for those who are on a time crunch but still want to get in the spirit with a little sweet treat making. Third, they are super festive and totally cute. And (d) they taste awesome!

Ingredients

•     Wilton White Candy Wafers (or any other brand)
•     Reese's Mini Peanut Butter Cups
•     Christmas sprinkles
•     Golden Oreo Cookies

Instructions

1. Melt the candy wafers per the instructions on the bag. It makes it easier to dip the Oreo's if you melt them in a deeper glass container but a bowl will absolutely do.
2. With a fork, dip the Oreo into the white chocolate and tap slightly to get all of the excess candy to drip off.
3. Place on a foil lined baking sheet.
4. While chocolate is still warm, press a mini peanut butter cup to the side of the Oreo.
5. Quickly shake the sprinkles of your choice onto the Oreo.
6. Allow cookies to completely set before serving.
7. f there is a blob of white chocolate that you don't want on your cookie, take a thin paring knife and "carve" the blob off.
8. Do not refrigerate as sometimes this discolors the candy.
